You will require a referral from your family doctor, walk in clinic or an optometrist.


For any acute ocular or health emergency, present to the emergency department.

  1. A list of current medications and eye drops.
  2.  Provincial Care Card with valid PHN.
  3. Your current glasses for distance vision.
  4. A driver for dilated examinations.
  5. A translator if applicable.

– Expect to be at the office for 1.5 to 2.5 hours the day that you’re seeing the doctor.


– Your pupils will likely be dilated. Expect to have blurred vision for several hours after your appointment. Please bring a driver.

The clinic adheres to guidelines as dictated by the provincial health authority and these may vary. Please expect to have to wear a mask during your appointment with the doctor.
